Technical Business Analyst III (Level 3) – Investment Management Operations

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)

Contract Duration: 1-Year W2 Contract

Pay Rate: $51.86/Hr

Role Summary

Operations is a key division within the firm responsible for processing and recording millions of transactions daily, mitigating operational risk, and partnering with technology teams to enhance systems and e-solutions.

This role sits within Investment Management Operations (MSIM), supporting equity, fixed income, liquidity, and alternative investment businesses. The team provides middle-office support including portfolio manager assistance, client services, portfolio transitions, product data management, and performance/attribution analysis.

The role focuses heavily on derivatives operations, collateral management, reconciliations, and lifecycle event support.

Top Requirements

• Recent experience with Acadia

• Experience with Aladdin (BRS Aladdin preferred)

• 1–3 years’ experience in derivatives-related functions

Key Responsibilities

• Support OTC and cleared derivatives collateral management across investment teams

• Assist portfolio managers, traders, analysts, and administrators with order and portfolio management systems

• Monitor derivative trade capture, affirmations, confirmations, and settlements

• Reconcile derivative positions and mark-to-market (MTM) valuations

• Coordinate with brokers, custodians, and administrators on derivative lifecycle events

• Troubleshoot and resolve transaction or investment data issues

• Assist with onboarding new funds/accounts, including ISDA and related documentation

• Provide operational support to internal departments as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• 1–3 years of experience in derivatives or related financial operations

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)

• Aladdin platform experience

• Acadia / CloudMargin experience

• TriOptima (triResolve) experience

• DTCC, ICE Link, and MarkitWire familiarity
