Job Description

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

  • Working days: Monday - Friday 830am to 530pm
  • Location : Ang Mo Kio Techplace
  • Salary: $4,500 - $6,500

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct equipment design & development work according to customers and internal specifications.
  • Act as project lead to plan, organize and co‑coordinate their respective project’s meetings to review design and ensure projects are kept to schedule.
  • Maintain and control relevant documents related to R & D activities per requirements.
  • Maintain, keep track, and ensure Billed Materials is updated.
  • Generate detailed 2D/3D drawings
  • Raise ECN for update of changes to design and drawings and follow up on approval and ECN flow.
  • Provide technical support to process & production, supply chain & QA for review and troubleshooting of design and drawings.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or relevant disciplines.
  • At least a minimum 4 years of relevant experience in semiconductor or automation equipment design.
  • Experience of mechanical designs using SolidWorks is preferred. Candidate with Autodesk/Auto CAD Software will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Words, Excel, PowerPoint) are required.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in material properties
  • Willing to travel for overseas projects if required
