About the RoleWe are seeking a high-performing Account Director to drive strategic growth across public sector clients in the Middle East. This role focuses on selling advanced AI- and blockchain-driven cybersecurity solutions to government entities, ministries, and public institutions.The ideal candidate combines strong enterprise sales expertise, deep understanding of the regional public sector landscape, and experience positioning complex cybersecurity and emerging technology solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Growth & Account ManagementOwn and execute the sales strategy for key public sector accounts across the Middle EastDevelop and manage a pipeline of high-value opportunities aligned with revenue targetsBuild long-term, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders (CIOs, CISOs, Digital Transformation leaders)Lead end-to-end sales cycles from opportunity identification through contract closureStrategic EngagementPosition the company's AI-powered cybersecurity and blockchain solutions as mission-critical enablers of national digital transformationIdentify and qualify new opportunities within government initiatives, smart city programs, and national cybersecurity strategiesDevelop account plans aligned with client priorities and regulatory frameworksSolution Selling & CollaborationWork closely with pre-sales, product, and delivery teams to develop tailored proposals and solutionsTranslate technical capabilities into business value for non-technical stakeholdersLead complex bid responses, RFPs, and tender submissionsMarket Intelligence & PositioningMaintain deep knowledge of regional cybersecurity trends, public sector procurement processes, and regulatory environmentsTrack competitor activity and identify differentiators to strengthen market positioningRepresent the company at industry events, conferences, and government forumsRequirementsExperience10-15+ years of enterprise sales experience, with at least 5+ years in cybersecurity or emerging technologies (AI, blockchain)Proven track record of selling to public sector clients in the Middle East, especially UAE and GCC governmentsDemonstrated success managing large, complex deals (multi-million USD contracts)Strong understanding of public procurement processes and frameworks in the regionSkills & CompetenciesStrategic selling and account management expertiseStrong executive presence with the ability to influence senior decision-makersExcellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skillsAbility to navigate complex stakeholder environments and long sales cyclesStrong commercial acumen and solution-oriented mindsetTechnical KnowledgeFamiliarity with cybersecurity domains (e.g., threat intelligence, zero trust, identity security, SOC solutions)Understanding of AI applications in cybersecurity and blockchain-based security solutionsAbility to articulate value propositions for emerging technologies in a public sector contextEducationBachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred)
