About the Role

Dandy is looking for an Account Manager to join the growing team and delight our customers: dentists across the country. New customers will be transitioned directly from sales to you, and you will quickly build your portfolio to 100+ accounts. Our Multi Location segment serves parent accounts that have more than 1 location.

As the owner of your book of business, your primary focus will be on driving Net Revenue Retention (NRR) by proactively fostering strong customer relationships, activating new user (doctor) growth, and expanding into new locations. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Training, and Customer Support to drive customer satisfaction and ultimately customer retention.

What You'll Do

Book Management

  • Drive NRR through strategic account planning and proactive customer engagement
  • Utilize data and customer feedback to analyze your book of business and formulate a plan on customer engagement
  • Use a mix of service and sales skills to manage the doctor experience during critical moments of Dandy’s customer journey

Commercial Sales

  • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your given book of business
  • Drive activations of more users / doctors within a practice
  • Drive sales of additional scanners within a practice
  • Drive expansion through selling into additional practice locations

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with doctors at key accounts to foster trust and loyalty
  • Provide consultative solutioning and negotiate commercial terms with doctors through a nuanced understanding their goals and feedback
  • Experiment and execute on churn reduction strategies

Clinical Knowledge

  • Deeply understand the operations of a dentistry practice and the competitive market of digital dentistry to better engage with doctors
  • Have ability to speak in the language of clinicians in order to problem solve and be a partner to the customers

Continuous Improvement

  • Experiment on the tactics, talk tracks, and use cases to continuously improve on how we can more effectively retain customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as customer support and training to better serve your customers
  • Collect feedback and disseminate learnings back to the rest of the company to drive product enhancements

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in dental industry in Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, or other role that interfaced directly with dentists
  • Track record of upselling and growing your account portfolio
  • Established and managed relationships with multiple stakeholders at small to medium sized businesses
  • Enjoy talking on the phone with clients for over 60% of your day.
  • Have a desire to dive deeper and understand customer’s pain points.
  • Comfortable analyzing data and using dashboards to inform your decisions and outreach.
