Leading the future in luxury electric and mobility

At Lucid, we set out to introduce the most captivating, luxury electric vehicles that elevate the human experience and transcend the perceived limitations of space, performance, and intelligence. Vehicles that are intuitive, liberating, and designed for the future of mobility.

We plan to lead in this new era of luxury electric by returning to the fundamentals of great design – where every decision we make is in service of the individual and environment. Because when you are no longer bound by convention, you are free to define your own experience.

Come work alongside some of the most accomplished minds in the industry. Beyond providing competitive salaries, we’re providing a community for innovators who want to make an immediate and significant impact. If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.

At Lucid Motors, we’re building the future of mobility and our Finance & Accounting team plays a key role in supporting that growth across Europe. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Accounting Intern to join our European Finance Team. This is a great opportunity for a student who wants to kick-start a career in accounting and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, international environment.

You will report directly to the Accounting Lead and contribute to day-to-day operations as well as month-end activities.

What you’ll do

As an Accounting Intern, you will support the team with both recurring activities and improvement initiatives, including:

Assist the Accounting Team with daily tasks and month-end close activities

Help prepare, review, and post journal entries under guidance

Support the team in preparing for local statutory filings and audit-related requests

Help maintain accurate documentation and assist with basic reconciliations (as needed)

Contribute to projects that improve accounting and finance processes, tools, and ways of working

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, structured, and comfortable working with numbers and detail.

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (HBO/WO) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Strong communication skills and comfortable working with different stakeholders

Detail-oriented, well-organized, and reliable

Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to learn quickly

Nice to have

Previous internship, part-time job, or coursework relevant to accounting/finance

Basic familiarity with accounting concepts (e.g., journals, debits/credits, close process)

Experience with Excel or other tools used for data handling/reporting

Interest in working in a fast-growing, international company environment

What you’ll gain

This internship is designed to provide meaningful learning and real exposure to accounting practices in a global organization.

Hands-on experience supporting European accounting operations

Exposure to the month-end close process, journal entries, and compliance requirements

Experience supporting statutory and audit-related activities

Opportunities to contribute to process improvements and build practical skills

Coaching and support from the Accounting Manager and the wider Finance team
