ROLE OVERVIEW

We are hiring an experienced Accounting Specialist to oversee accounts payable and receivable operations for a fast-paced business. This role supports daily transactional accounting, ERP-to-QBO reconciliation, and customer billing communications. The ideal candidate thrives in high-volume environments and understands compliance requirements within regulated industries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage full-cycle AP and AR processes in QuickBooks Online

• Reconcile ERP transactions with QBO to ensure accurate financial records

• Generate and issue customer invoices; monitor aging reports

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues

• Respond to customer and vendor inquiries professionally and promptly

• Support month-end close, reconciliations, and basic reporting

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with industry standards

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven accounting or bookkeeping experience

• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and ERP-integrated workflows

• Strong understanding of invoicing, reconciliations, and high-volume AP/AR operations

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Must have prior remote work experience, be fluent with remote collaboration tools and platforms (such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar), and have ideally worked with US or UK-based companies. Applications without this experience will not be considered.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in product-based or inventory-driven accounting environments

• Familiarity with compliance documentation or audit preparation

• Exposure to revenue recognition within regulated industries
