Job Description

29th Street Capital is seeking an analytically rigorous and highly driven Acquisitions Analyst with 1-2 years of relevant full-time experience to join our Chicago office. This role is designed for individuals who have already developed a strong foundation in financial analysis and are ready to take on increased responsibility in evaluating and executing real estate investments. You will work directly with senior investment professionals and will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, accuracy, and judgment.

This is not an entry-level role. Candidates directly out of undergraduate programs will not be considered. The role reports to our corporate office location in downtown Chicago.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

This role leads the underwriting and evaluation of multifamily investment opportunities across value-add and core-plus strategies. It involves building and refining financial models, analyzing property performance and market data, and conducting detailed research to assess risk, return, and overall viability. The position also supports the full transaction lifecycle—from diligence and data room coordination through closing—while preparing investment materials for internal stakeholders and assisting with investor communications. In addition, the role partners closely with Asset Management and Capital Markets to ensure seamless execution from underwriting through ongoing operations.
