29th Street Capital is seeking a highly analytical and competitive 2026 graduate to join our Acquisitions team in Chicago.This role is designed for an individual who wants to operate at a high level early in their career. You will work directly with senior investment professionals and will be expected to contribute meaningfully to underwriting, decision-making, and execution from day one.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates exceptional judgment, work ethic, and attention to detail, and who takes pride in producing high-quality work. The role reports to our corporate office location in downtown Chicago.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

This role is responsible for underwriting and supporting multifamily investment opportunities across value-add and core-plus strategies. It involves building and maintaining financial models, analyzing property performance and market data, and conducting in-depth research to evaluate risk and return. The position also supports the full transaction lifecycle, including diligence, data room management, and closing, while preparing investment materials for internal stakeholders and assisting with investor communications and capital raising efforts. Additionally, the role partners closely with Asset Management and Capital Markets to ensure seamless execution from underwriting through ongoing operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Build and own financial models to evaluate multifamily investment opportunities across value-add and core-plus strategies

Analyze operating statements, rent rolls, and market data to assess risk, return, and business plan viability

Prepare clear, well-structured investment materials for internal decision-making

Conduct detailed market research, including supply/demand dynamics, rent trends, and comparable transactions

Support live transactions through diligence, data room management, and closing execution

Assist with investor-facing materials, including presentations, reporting, and capital raising support

Partner with Asset Management and Capital Markets to ensure continuity from underwriting through execution

2026 graduate with a degree in finance, economics, real estate, engineering, mathematics, or a similarly rigorous discipline

Strong analytical skillset with demonstrated performance in demanding environments (internships, academics, athletics, or similar)

Advanced Excel proficiency and a solid understanding of financial modeling and core real estate concepts (NOI, IRR, cap rates, cash flow)

High attention to detail and ability to work with speed and accuracy

Clear communicator with strong organizational skills
