Senior Acquisition Analyst
We are partnering with a growing real estate investment and development firm seeking a Senior Acquisition Analyst to join its acquisitions team.
This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership and involvement across acquisitions, capital markets, and development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models for acquisition opportunities across multifamily and commercial assets
- Conduct property-level and portfolio-level cash flow analysis including IRR, waterfalls, sensitivities, and scenario modeling
- Evaluate new investment opportunities through underwriting, market research, and comparable analysis
- Assist with due diligence including review of leases, financials, and third-party reports
- Support structuring and execution of debt financing including lender packages, debt sizing, and term sheet comparisons
- Coordinate with lenders, brokers, legal teams, and internal stakeholders throughout the transaction process
- Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and internal deal materials
- Support portfolio analysis, hold/sell evaluations, and development modeling as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in real estate, investment banking, private equity, or financial services
- Strong financial modeling skills including DCF, IRR, waterfalls, and investment analysis
- Exposure to commercial or multifamily real estate acquisitions, lending, or development preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build models from scratch
- Argus experience is a plus but not required
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-starter with strong analytical skills and interest in real estate investment
