Our client is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join their state-of-the-art facility in **Denver, Colorado, US**. This role is central to driving innovation and efficiency in our manufacturing processes, focusing on the implementation and optimization of cutting-edge production technologies. The successful candidate will have a passion for automation, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement within a high-volume production environment.
Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes and systems. Design and specify new manufacturing equipment and tooling, ensuring optimal performance and integration. Lead projects related to automation, robotics, and smart manufacturing technologies (Industry 4.0). Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes. Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with design engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product realization. Implement lean manufacturing techniques such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S to enhance operational excellence. Manage the validation and qualification of new processes and equipment. Provide technical training and support to production staff and maintenance teams. Stay abreast of emerging manufacturing technologies and industry best practices. Ensure manufacturing processes comply with all safety and environmental regulations. Estimate manufacturing costs and contribute to budget planning. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering, preferably in (mention a relevant industry like aerospace, automotive, medical devices). Strong understanding of automation, robotics, CNC machining, additive manufacturing, or other advanced production techniques. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and data analysis tools. Demonstrated experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. Experience with process simulation and modeling is desirable. Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is beneficial. This role is based in our **Denver, Colorado, US** facility and requires on-site presence.
