Job Description

Our client, a leader in high-precision industrial components, is seeking an innovative Advanced Manufacturing Process Engineer to optimize their production lines in Houston, Texas, US . This role is critical to enhancing efficiency, improving product quality, and reducing manufacturing costs through the application of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, strong problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach to process improvement. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting manufacturing processes, working closely with production teams, quality control, and engineering departments.

Responsibilities:

Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies, including automation and robotics. Design and conduct experiments to optimize process parameters and validate new methodologies. Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams on new product introductions and design for manufacturability. Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Six Sigma). Oversee the selection, installation, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment. Train production personnel on new processes and equipment. Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering. Proven experience in process optimization, automation, and lean manufacturing methodologies. Strong knowledge of various manufacturing techniques (e.g., machining, casting, molding, assembly). Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and data analysis tools. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and collaborate closely with production staff.
