Our client, a pioneering force in advanced materials manufacturing, is seeking an exceptional Advanced Materials Manufacturing Engineer to join their state-of-the-art facility in Miami, Florida, US . This critical role involves the development, optimization, and scaling of manufacturing processes for novel composite materials and high-performance alloys. You will work closely with R&D teams to transition laboratory-scale innovations into robust, high-volume production. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing process controls, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring consistent product quality. You will also be involved in selecting and qualifying new manufacturing equipment, developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and conducting process capability studies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong focus on manufacturing processes. At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably within the aerospace, automotive, or advanced composites industry, is required. Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and failure analysis techniques is essential. Experience with CAD/CAM software and simulation tools for process modeling is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, are crucial for collaborating with cross-functional teams. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and be committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
