Our client, a global leader in advanced manufacturing solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Advanced Robotics Engineer with a specialization in automation to join their cutting-edge facility in **Denver, Colorado, US**. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and optimizing robotic systems that drive efficiency and innovation in our production lines. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of integrating intelligent automation into complex manufacturing processes, requiring a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, and robotics.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement robotic systems and automated solutions for manufacturing processes. Program industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB, Yaskawa) for complex tasks including pick-and-place, assembly, welding, and inspection. Integrate robotic systems with other manufacturing equipment, PLCs, and control systems. Develop and maintain simulation models for robotic workcells to optimize cycle times and identify potential collisions. Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and uptime. Develop and execute test plans for new robotic systems and software updates. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, programming manuals, and maintenance procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and operation of automated systems. Stay current with the latest advancements in robotics, AI, machine vision, and automation technologies. Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations personnel. Troubleshoot and repair robotic hardware and software issues. Ensure all safety standards and regulations are met during the design and implementation phases. Qualifications:

Master's or Ph.D. in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in designing, programming, and implementing industrial robotic systems. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for robotics (e.g., C++, Python, specific robot vendor languages). Experience with industrial robot controllers (FANUC, KUKA, ABB, Yaskawa) and associated software. Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMI, and industrial automation control systems. Experience with machine vision systems and integration is highly desirable. Familiarity with CAD software for robotic cell design. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Strong project management and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Knowledge of safety standards for industrial automation (e.g., ISO 10218).
