Job Description
Partners with leadership and the clinical caregiver community to design and implement data and analytics projects and initiatives at both the department and enterprise level that are in alignment with the department's mission and vision. Oversees Business Intelligence Specialists and works to provide advanced analytics and information solutions to ensure that clinical systems, data and information projects enhance quality and patient safety, and improve efficiency and patient engagement. Works closely with Northwell Supply Chain to develop interactive dashboards in Looker, used by leadership for business decisions
Job Responsibility
1.Provides strategic advice and guidance to the Business Intelligence function.
2.Provides recommendations to senior executives on matters of significance including the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of data and analytics applications that support data best practice and regulatory requirements.
3.Collaborates with leadership in the development of specifications to support the design of new or modified analytics solutions and/or workflows to support exemplary clinical practice.
4.Oversees Business Intelligence Specialists on assigned projects in support of the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of data and analytics applications.
5.Serves as a resource to the managers, senior managers, directors and AVPs.
6.Evaluates proposed projects and makes recommendations utilizing analytical and/ or clinical skills to ensure high quality execution of all projects.
7.Demonstrates advanced technical knowledge and understanding of all clinical analytics systems, BI tools including data flows, and demonstrates subject matter expertise in applications across multiple functions.

Job Qualification
10+ years of relevant experience and 2+ years of leadership / management experience, required.
