Aerospace Systems Engineer

Talascend is currently seeking an Aerospace Systems Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Phoenix, Arizona.

Overview

As a senior advanced systems engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex aerospace systems and solutions that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency in the industry. You will work within cross-functional teams on cutting-edge projects that transform aircraft operations. This role focuses on development, systems integration, and verification of core display applications for next-generation avionics platforms.

Responsibilities

• System/software requirements development, validation, integration, or verification

• Arinc 661 graphics development (using Scade, preferred)

• Creating test cases for software based upon use cases derived from the system and software requirements

Qualifications

• Must be a US Person

• Experience with systems/software requirements development, validation, integration or verification

• Experience with Arinc 661 graphics development, preferably using Scade

• Strong understanding of aviation industry regulations and best practices (bonus)
