Our client, a prominent player in agricultural innovation and technology, is searching for an experienced Agricultural Data Scientist & Analytics Lead to spearhead their data-driven initiatives in Miami, Florida . This critical role involves leveraging vast datasets to derive actionable insights that optimize crop yields, improve resource management, and enhance sustainable farming practices. You will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytical models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical methods tailored for agricultural applications. This includes analyzing data from sensors, drones, satellite imagery, weather patterns, and soil conditions to provide predictive insights and strategic recommendations to farmers and stakeholders. Key responsibilities encompass designing data collection strategies, managing large agricultural datasets, building predictive models for crop performance and disease outbreaks, and visualizing data to communicate findings effectively. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's or PhD degree in Data Science, Agricultural Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, with a specialization in agriculture or a strong demonstrated passion for the industry.
