About The Role
Braviant Holdings is building a new AI & Automation practice and is hiring two hands-on engineers to design, deploy, and govern AI-powered automation workflows. This greenfield role focuses on replacing manual processes with agentic AI in areas like consumer lending originations, credit risk, compliance, and internal operations.
You will build production-grade agents using the Anthropic ecosystem (Claude, Claude Code), AWS infrastructure, and the preferred Strands Agents SDK (with flexibility to use CrewAI, LangGraph, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
Agent & Workflow Development
- Design and build AI agent workflows to automate business processes.
- Migrate manual processes into governed, production-grade pipelines with human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
- Utilize Strands Agents SDK as the default framework, selecting alternative tools (e.g., CrewAI, LangGraph) where appropriate.
- Implement structured outputs, function calling, and tool-use patterns to connect LLMs with business logic.
Tool Integration & Automation Engineering
- Manage and build MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers/clients for secure API and data access.
- Develop skills, plugins, and tool integrations for AI platforms like Claude.
- Integrate AI capabilities via REST APIs, event queues, and AWS services.
- Implement lightweight automation connectors (n8n, Zapier, Make) for specific workflows.
Observability & Responsible AI
- Instrument workflows with logging, tracing, and alerting for auditing and debugging.
- Implement guardrails, usage controls, and compliance standards for AI deployments.
- Contribute to responsible AI documentation, runbooks, and incident response playbooks.
- Stay current on agentic AI developments and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specs.
- Contribute to shared frameworks, reusable components, and engineering standards.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
Requirements
Required
- 2–4 years of software engineering experience with production Python and SQL.
- Proven experience shipping AI/ML or LLM-powered solutions in real production environments.
- Practical experience with agentic/LLM orchestration frameworks (Strands, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, etc.).
- Experience integrating AI services via APIs and building function-calling patterns.
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud-native architecture.
- Daily use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
- Strong skills in prompt engineering and structured outputs.
- Excellent written communication for technical and compliance documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred
- Experience with Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, or Strands Agents SDK.
- Experience with MCP servers/clients and plugin development.
- Background in fintech, consumer lending, or regulated financial services.
- Familiarity with RAG architectures, vector databases, or knowledge graphs.
- Knowledge of application security (auth, secrets, RBAC, audit logging).
- Experience with AI observability and evaluation practices.
Benefits & Perks
- Competitive compensation and annual discretionary bonus plan.
- Comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, vision).
- Generous PTO, sick time, and 13 company holidays.
- 401(k) with company contribution.
- Regular team and company gatherings.
