Claude AI Factory Builder
Seeking highly execution-oriented builders to design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled tools, agents, and workflows that scale across consulting delivery. This contractor role focuses on shipping working artifacts, iterating quickly, and operating effectively in ambiguous environments.
Role Type: Contractor
Location: Flexible (Remote preferably from Dallas, TX or Austin, TX)
Start Date: ASAP
Initial Duration: 6–12 months (extendable based on performance)
The AI Factory Builder will break apart real consulting workflows, identify leverage points for automation or augmentation, and build AI-powered solutions, including Claude Code-based agents and other GenAI tools. Success is measured by shipped assets, adoption, and measurable delivery impact.
Demonstrated Builders (Execution-First Mindset)
Proven track record of shipping production-grade GenAI/AI solutions, not just POCs
Clear ownership of end-to-end lifecycle: problem framing → architecture → development → deployment → iteration
Ability to articulate real impact (usage scale, latency improvements, cost reduction, accuracy gains, business outcomes)
Experience building usable tools/products, not just models or notebooks
Applied GenAI & Claude Expertise (Hands-on, Production-Level)
Strong hands-on experience with Claude (Claude 2 / Claude 3 – Sonnet, Opus) in real-world applications
Deep understanding of prompt engineering, structured outputs, guardrails, and hallucination mitigation
Experience designing and implementing RAG pipelines (chunking strategies, hybrid retrieval, reranking, context optimization)
Familiarity with Anthropic-specific capabilities (system prompts, tool use, streaming, safety patterns)
Experience integrating Claude with enterprise systems, APIs, and data platforms
Agentic Workflows & Orchestration
Hands-on experience building agent-based or multi-step reasoning systems using tools like LangChain / LangGraph (or equivalent)
Ability to design modular workflows (retrieval → reasoning → tool execution → validation → response generation)
Experience with tool-calling agents, API integrations, and decision-driven workflows
Understanding of state management, conditional routing, fallback handling, and retry logic
Experience building scalable orchestration systems, not just linear pipelines
Systems Thinking & Architecture Depth
Ability to design end-to-end GenAI architectures (data ingestion, embeddings, vector DBs, retrieval layers, LLM orchestration)
Experience with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, OpenSearch, etc.) and hybrid search patterns
Understanding of performance trade-offs (latency vs accuracy vs cost vs context size)
Familiarity with evaluation frameworks, monitoring, and human-in-the-loop validation
Experience deploying scalable systems using APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms
Product + Execution Hybrid (Builder Mindset)
Ability to take ambiguous consulting problems and translate them into working AI solutions
Strong bias toward rapid prototyping and iteration over over-engineering
Focus on delivering usable outputs quickly, then improving based on feedback
Comfortable working without detailed specs or rigid requirements
Ability to think in terms of user workflows, adoption, and usability, not just technical correctness
Communication & Ownership
Ability to clearly explain architecture, trade-offs, and decisions in simple terms
Strong communication when working with non-technical stakeholders
Confidence in discussing their own contributions vs team contributions
Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable operating independently
Ideal Candidate:
Strong “builder DNA” with real shipped GenAI systems
Deep hands-on Claude + RAG + agentic workflows experience
Combines engineering depth + product thinking
Comfortable with ambiguity, ownership, and fast iteration cycles
Clear, confident communicator who can defend design decisions
