Role Overview
Seeking a strong Lead Engineer to drive architecture, design, and development of a cloud-native, configuration-driven, event-based platform supporting healthcare payer workflows and Payment Integrity systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end engineering initiatives
- Provide architectural guidance and hands-on development
- Build scalable metadata-driven and rule-engine systems
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and business teams
- Mentor developers and enforce engineering best practices
Required Skills
- 8+ years in software engineering
- Strong expertise in Python or Java
- Experience with configuration-driven platforms and rule engines
- Strong SQL & NoSQL database knowledge
- Kafka and event-driven architecture experience
- AWS services: EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB
- CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps
- Healthcare domain expertise with Payment Integrity focus
Preferred Experience
- Autonomous agents
- Tool-calling workflows
- Multi-agent architectures
- Local/private AI deployments
- Advanced AI reasoning & orchestration
- Hands-on experience with modern AI models like Qwen, Gemma, Llama, Claude, Gemini, Codex, etc.
- Kafka and Payment Integrity experience are mandatory
