Position: AI Engineer
Duration: 12 Month Contract
Location: 100% Remote (EST hours)
Qualifications:
- 8 12+ years of experience in software engineering or platform engineering
- 3 5+ years of experience working with AI/ML technologies
- Strong programming experience in Python or Java
- Experience designing and implementing AI-powered applications or services
- Experience integrating AI solutions into enterprise applications or digital platforms
- Strong understanding of modern software architecture patterns.
- Experience with Generative AI / LLMs
- Experience building AI-enabled APIs or services
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure)
- Experience with MLOps practices
- Experience working in large enterprise environments
Responsibilities:
AI Solution Design
- Design and implement AI-driven solutions that support digital platforms and business capabilities.
- Evaluate business requirements and recommend appropriate AI/ML technologies and approaches.
- Develop scalable and maintainable architectures for AI-powered systems.
Engineering Leadership
- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams on AI solution design and implementation.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate AI capabilities into existing applications and platforms.
- Establish patterns and best practices for implementing AI capabilities across systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with business, product, and technology teams to understand evolving requirements.
- Translate complex business challenges into practical technical solutions.
- Communicate architectural decisions and technical trade-offs to stakeholders.
Implementation & Quality
- Lead development and implementation of AI models and supporting infrastructure.
- Ensure high-quality engineering practices across development, testing, and deployment.
- Support performance optimization, reliability, and scalability of AI solutions.
