Position Description:
We are seeking highly motivated Research Assistants, Postdoctoral Fellows, or Scientists to join our interdisciplinary team working on AI for Science research with a focus on sustainable energy technologies and materials innovation. The candidate will work on cutting-edge projects integrating artificial intelligence, physics-based modeling, and high-throughput experimentation to accelerate discovery, evaluation, and deployment of next-generation energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI/ML models for materials design and optimization.
- Integrate data-driven models with physics-informed simulations for multi-scale analysis.
- Build and maintain high-quality datasets, including experimental and industrial data.
- Collaborate with researchers, industry partners, and policymakers to translate AI insights into practical applications.
- Contribute to software platforms and publish in leading journals.
Requirements:
- Master/PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, or AI for scientific applications.
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Experience with materials modeling or experimental workflows is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and produce high-impact research.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with sustainable energy systems (batteries, solar, hydrogen).
- Experience in combining AI with physics-based or multi-scale simulations.
- Knowledge of ESG, carbon accounting, or energy policy frameworks.
