About the position

Rovi is an AI-powered care concierge and virtual clinic for employer health\nplans. We monitor clinical data in real time, catch expensive care before it\ngets scheduled, and redirect members to higher-quality, lower-cost options. When\nsomeone has a condition we can treat directly, we do that through our own\nvirtual clinic.\nThe problem we’re solving: in-network prices for the same procedure vary up to\n10x within a single zip code. A hospital MRI costs \$3,000. The independent\nimaging center ten minutes away charges \$500. Same scan, same quality. But\nnobody tells the patient, the doctor doesn’t know the price, and the employer\nwon’t see the claim for months. So the expensive option wins by default, every\ntime.\nRovi changes that. We deliver high-quality care to member before they choose the\nexpensive or low-quality default. Our AI-native clinic allows us to treat and\nnavigate care, meaning we can reduce outpatient spend by over 30% while\nimproving health outcomes.\nWe’re live with 30,000 patients today and adding thousands more each month.\nWe’re backed by Y Combinator, Lightspeed, Gradient (Google’s AI fund), Liquid 2\n(Joe Montana), and others.\n\nYou’ll join a small, fast-moving engineering team that ships daily. The work\nspans the full stack: AI agents that talk to patients, data pipelines that\ningest clinical records, dashboards that show employers their savings. One week\nyou might be tuning a clinical triage agent. The next you’re at a client site\nwiring up a data integration.\nYou’ll own real product surface area, talk to customers, and ship things that go\nlive for thousands of patients. What you build here matters immediately.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of engineering experience. Strong in Python, React, TypeScript.
• You’ve shipped full-stack products, not just features inside someone else’s system.
• You’ve worked with LLMs or AI agents in production, or you have meaningful side projects that show you can.
• Comfortable with AWS or GCP. Solid SQL and PostgreSQL.
• You ship fast and iterate. You’d rather get something in front of users quickly and improve it than spend months getting it perfect in isolation.
