Our client is seeking a forward-thinking AI Lead to drive artificial intelligence strategy and implementation across the organization. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will shape how AI transforms banking operations, customer experience, and risk management.
The Role
- Lead the development and execution of the bank’s AI strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Identify high-value AI/ML use cases across functions such as risk, compliance, customer analytics, and operations.
- Oversee end-to-end AI solution delivery, from data exploration and model development to deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure scalable and secure AI solutions.
- Establish AI governance, ethical standards, and model risk management frameworks.
- Build and mentor a high-performing AI/data science team.
- Stay updated on emerging AI trends and assess their applicability to the banking sector.
The Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience delivering AI solutions in financial services or regulated industries is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, NLP, and predictive modeling techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Solid understanding of data governance, model validation, and regulatory considerations in banking.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
