Objective/ Engagement Overview

We are looking for 1 experienced AI ML Engineer to develop and customize internal tools to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and

better manage data. Applications to include, but not limited to: Enclosure part should-costing, Enclosure manufacturing data analysis, machine

learning & vision, and general productivity tools.

Ideal candidates should have the ability to analyze an existing workflow, and identify if/how it can be improved or automated by AI ML. The

individual will be responsible for learning current tools that exist within Company and driving implementation of custom solutions for the team.

Candidates must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, multitask, manage tasks/projects independently,and communicate with cross

functional partners.

 Skills

Python/R/C++/Julia/Java

 Experience operating with variety of AI platforms, including:

Claude

Gemini

ChatGPT

Perplexity

Excel (or Numbers), Keynote

Able to multitask between tasks/projects

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work well cross-functionally

Data Visualization tools like Tableau

Well organized

Ability to architect custom solutions

\Familiarity with Mechanical part manufacturing processes a plus

Familiarity with Factory or Operations environment a plus

Requirements

Must be able to work at site onsite minimum 3 days/week (SCV or Culver City )

Timezone: PST, and few hours overlap with China.

Key QualificationsUnderstanding of multiple AI ML tools and platforms.

Ability to understand end-level team requirements/goals, and craft custom automated solutions accordingly.

Experience with data visualizationExperience with setting up automated reporting tools

Ability to communicate cross-functionally and align various stakeholders to a common objective.

Familiarity with mechanical part manufacturing processes or a factory environment - nice to have

Familiar with infrastructure required within a factory for manufacturing process data collection and mgmt.

Description/Key Responsibilities

Candidates will be responsible for working with internal team members and cross-functional stakeholders to identify AI ML optimization

opportunities, and drive custom solutions.

A typical day could include:Meeting with company internal AI/ML tool development teams to understand existing tools and how they are

currently being leveraged.

Meeting with members of the existing team to understand how various workflows are currently setup and operating.

Meeting with suppliers to understand how Enclosure part data is managed within a factory.

Developing a master schedule for various projects being considered.

Facilitating prioritization and down-selection of projects to pursue.

Outlining next-steps and help-needed to move projects forward.

Develop, deploy and monitor solutions. Take feedback and iterate accordingly.

Prepare presentations to team and leadership on project roadmap, status, etc.

Success Criteria/Definition of Done

Success criteria will be measured by:

Qty of projects completed/implemented

Efficiency: number of man-hours saved from the implemented solutions.

Expectations by Phase

Onboarding/learning existing AI ML Tools already developed within Company

Understand current workflows and AI ML application opportunities within the team.

Develop a prioritized list of projects

Develop and implement a low-effort project

Develop and implement more complex, longer-term projects

Grow areas of ownership in ongoing projects (expand responsibilities)

Report out progress on regular cadence to leadership
