Join Our Team as an AI/ML Software Engineer!
Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) is seeking a talented AI/ML Software Engineer to enhance our Government operational systems through innovative AI/ML solutions. This role involves designing, developing, and integrating advanced AI/ML models and algorithms that make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, train, and evaluate AI/ML models to support Government operations.
- Prepare and structure data for machine learning pipelines, focusing on feature engineering and model lifecycle management.
- Implement robust model monitoring and validation processes, ensuring traceability and reproducibility of AI artifacts.
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into software applications utilizing APIs and microservices.
- Contribute to DevSecOps activities including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure deployments.
- Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity, RMF, data protection, and Responsible AI policies.
- Assist in system accreditation, documentation, testing, and evaluation tasks.
- Collaborate within diverse teams, including Government and contractors, throughout the integration and readiness phases.
- Participate in Agile program increment (PI) planning and related activities, with some travel required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Secret clearance or above required; Active TS/SCI preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the AI/ML domain.
- 3 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and evaluating machine learning models using industry-standard frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Proficient in programming languages for AI/ML development such as Python, along with SQL, Java, or C++.
- Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation techniques, and feature engineering.
- Experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting system tests to ensure compliance with project standards.
- 3 years of experience testing web-based applications.
- Participated in software development projects for at least 3 years.
- Familiarity with relational databases, RESTful API development, and system integrations.
- 5 years of experience using Jenkins and GitLab.
- Experience in structuring data for AI integration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile Test-Driven Development.
- Exposure to DoD DevSecOps environments.
- 5 years in CI/CD software development roles.
- Knowledge of RMF accreditation and security assessments.
- Familiarity with model monitoring, explainability, and Responsible AI practices.
- Experience integrating AI/ML services into operational dashboards or decision support platforms.
Compensation:
Minimum Salary: $110,000.00
Maximum Salary: $145,000.00
