In this role, your contributions could range from post-training pipelines and evaluation methodologies to production systems and building innovative AI products for real users.

AI Research Engineer Responsibilities:

• Enhance next-generation multimodal foundation models by advancing their understanding, generation, and grounding capabilities for diverse product applications.
• Contribute to imaginative data sourcing, and curate high-quality training data while scaling and optimizing data pipelines for multimodal LLMs.
• Lead and collaborate on research that propels multimodal reasoning and generation, prioritizing applications that directly influence Meta's product development.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a technical lead, guiding significant initiatives with cross-functional impact.
• Strong engineering credentials (PhD in ML is not a requirement).
• Experience in AI/ML environments.
• Adept at managing data pipelines and version control.

Compensation:

The salary range is $183,997/year to $257,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
