A leading global firm operating in highly regulated environments is seeking an AI Security Risk Manager (VP) to join a growing security and technology risk team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping how emerging technologies, including AI, are evaluated and governed within the organization.

Role Overview

This position sits at the intersection of security, risk, and emerging technology , with a focus on building and maturing capabilities around AI risk and detection strategy . The role offers a mix of strategic oversight and hands-on involvement, depending on background.

Responsibilities may include:

Supporting the development of AI risk and governance frameworks Evaluating new technologies and assessing associated risks Partnering with internal teams to enhance security visibility and detection capabilities Contributing to broader technology risk and security initiatives

Key Focus Areas

AI / Emerging Technology Risk: Helping define how new technologies are evaluated, governed, and adopted Detection & Security: Supporting efforts around monitoring, detection strategy, and security tooling Technology Risk: Contributing to risk processes, controls, and governance across systems and platforms

Candidate Profile

Background in one or more of the following: Security Architecture Detection Engineering Technology Risk / Governance Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments preferred Ability to: Balance technical depth with business context Operate in evolving / less-defined environments Work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
