AI Solution Owner - Dallas, TX (Full time )
The InRhythm Opportunity
InRhythm is establishing a modern software engineering practice built around an AI-driven Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC) methodology — spec-driven, agentic, and powered byClaude. As an AI Solution Owner, you will be the engine behind the pod’s delivery velocity, sitting at the intersection of business requirements and AI-augmented engineering. You will translate product intent into precisely structured specifications that Claude can act on with minimal ambiguity. This is a uniquely technical business role: part product owner, part prompt engineer, part delivery lead.
Your Impact
The velocity and accuracy of the entire AI-DLC pod depends on the quality of your specifications. Poorly structured requirements produce mediocre AI output. Your work directly determines how much rework engineers face, how fast features reach production, and how well the agentic pipeline scales as the practice grows. Every spec template, prompt pattern, and context pack you create will become reusable intellectual property for the firm.
What You Will Do
- Own the Spec Pipeline: Author, maintain, and continuously improve the structured feature specifications that Claude uses to generate code, covering backend APIs, data models, Angular components, and acceptance criteria.
- Design Spec Templates: Build and evolve reusable specification templates aligned to the Java/Spring Boot/Angular stack, ensuring they surface the context Claude needs including domain model, existing patterns, constraints, and edge cases.
- Manage the AI-DLC Workflow: Iterate on the end-to-end AI-DLC pipeline from spec ingestion through Claude code generation, human review, and merge governance.
- Maintain Codebase Context Packs: Own and update the architecture documents, coding convention guides, glossaries, and domain model summaries that are injected into Claude’s context window.
- Prioritize AI-Suitable Work: Assess the feature backlog for agentic suitability, identifying which features Claude can lead on, which require more human involvement, and why.
- Measure and Improve: Track agent output quality metrics including rework rate, review cycles, and test pass rates, and use data to improve spec quality and prompt patterns.
Must Have Experience:
- Structured Specification Authoring: Demonstrated ability to write precise, unambiguous feature specifications using BDD/Gherkin, frontmatter markdown, or equivalent formal formats.
- AI Prompt Engineering: Hands-on experience crafting and refining prompts for LLMs (Claude, GPT, or similar) in a software delivery or product context.
- Technical Product Ownership: 5+ years in a BA, product owner, or technical PM role working closely with software engineering teams on complex enterprise applications.
- Java/Spring Boot Literacy: Sufficient technical depth to understand API contracts, service boundaries, data models, and Spring conventions to write specs engineers and Claude can act on directly.
- Angular/Frontend Literacy: Understanding of Angular component structure, routing, and state management sufficient to spec UI features with precision.
- Analytical Rigor: Ability to decompose complex business requirements into discrete, testable, machine-readable specifications.
Nice to Have Experience:
- Experience building or maintaining prompt libraries and agent workflow tooling.
- Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar orchestration frameworks at a conceptual level.
- Background in enterprise financial services, asset management, or other regulated domains.
- Experience with context window management strategies for large codebases. Exposure to RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) or compressed context file concepts as applied to codebase documentation.
Compensation
This role aligns with InRhythm’s standard salary bands for Lead Engineers. Specific compensation will be calibrated based on technical depth and experience level.
