About the Role
We are looking for a talented and passionate AI Solutions Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design and development of AI-powered applications and proprietary software using our internal data assets. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to transform business needs into intelligent, scalable solutions — from concept to deployment.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and deploy custom AI-powered applications and internal software tools tailored to our business needs.
- Develop and fine-tune machine learning and large language model (LLM) solutions using our proprietary data.
- Build data pipelines and integrations that connect AI models to our existing systems and workflows.
- Evaluate and select appropriate AI frameworks, APIs, and cloud platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, scope projects, and communicate technical solutions clearly.
- Ensure AI solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with data privacy best practices.
- Stay current with rapidly evolving AI/ML technologies and proactively recommend improvements and new capabilities.
- Document systems, processes, and code for long-term maintainability.
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 3+ years of hands-on software development experience
- Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience working with AI/ML APIs and LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, etc.)
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience integrating AI tools into real-world applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Nice to Have
- Experience fine-tuning or training custom ML models
- Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector)
- Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures
- Background in building internal tools or SaaS products
- Experience with data security and AI compliance frameworks
- Startup or fast-paced environment background
Pay: $34.11 - $41.08 per hour
