Airport SCADA Supervisor

Position Overview: Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for managing the real-time Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for the Austin Bergstrom International Airport Baggage Handling Systems. Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: Manages, trains, and leads staff that supports SCADA systems. Oversees daily evaluations and real-time system performance and operations. Leads technical discussions on complex systems, making recommendations to management and users. Determines scheduled maintenance program and project replacement of equipment. Oversees the implementation of Advanced Network applications to ensure efficient and reliable remote system administration. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a field related to Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics, plus six (6) years of experience in a field related to SCADA and/or Baggage Handling Process Control work, including two (2) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity. Experience may substitute for education up to a maximum of four (4) years. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Valid State of Texas Class “C” Driver License
