An emerging PE fund - Investment Analyst (up to 1.2mil base)

The Company

Our client is an early‑stage, growth‑equity focused private equity firm with a global investment mandate. The platform operates in a lean, non‑institutional structure and follows a disciplined internal investment process led by a highly experienced investment veteran. With an expanding regional presence and multiple business initiatives underway, the firm offers an entrepreneurial environment with strong long‑term growth potential and close partner involvement.

As part of its expansion, the firm is hiring two Investment Analysts to support the investment team across sourcing, analysis, due diligence, and portfolio support, offering broad exposure and close mentorship.

The Role

• Investment research and screening: Review industries, companies, and markets, preparing short summaries to support early‑stage investment discussions and shortlist opportunities.
• Financial analysis and modeling: Build and update simple financial models, valuation scenarios, and return analysis to support investment evaluation and internal discussions.
• Deal execution support: Assist the team throughout live transactions by coordinating information review, organizing materials, and supporting internal approval and presentation preparation.
• Due diligence coordination: Help manage analysis across commercial, financial, and operational areas by reviewing data and tracking open items during the evaluation process.
• Portfolio tracking and analysis: Monitor performance of portfolio companies by updating key metrics, comparing peer performance, and highlighting trends, risks, and improvement areas.
• Investor and business materials: Prepare clear and structured materials for internal updates, investor communication, and general marketing support.
• Market and network development: Support the team in researching potential partners, investors, and industry contacts to strengthen the firm's global network.

Your Profile

• A strong academic background from a reputable university is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in investment background
• Solid analytical skills with hands‑on experience in Excel and presentation tools, and the ability to distill complex information into clear, structured insights.
• Exposure to the China market or experience working with Chinese companies is an advantage
• Demonstrates strong curiosity, motivation, and comfort working in a small, fast‑paced, and entrepreneurial team setting.
