JEM Property operates across healthcare, education and social housing real estate, specialising in acquisitions, disposals and development opportunities throughout the UK.

We are seeking an Analyst / Acquisitions Associate to support our acquisitions function through structured research, pipeline management and commercial analysis.

This role sits at the front end of our investment process and provides direct exposure to live opportunities and decision-making.

This is not a sales role.

The Role

You will support the identification, assessment and progression of acquisition opportunities, working closely with the acquisitions and development teams.

The role requires accuracy, consistency and a strong understanding of how data supports investment decisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Researching potential acquisition opportunities within defined geographic and strategic parameters
  • Gathering planning, market and site information using planning portals, local authority data and mapping platforms
  • Preparing structured summaries and briefing notes to support internal decision-making
  • Maintaining accurate acquisition trackers, databases and live deal pipelines
  • Monitoring deal stages and ensuring all required information is complete ahead of review
  • Supporting underwriting and initial deal assessment
  • Coordinating follow-up research and validating key data points
  • Tracking tasks and deadlines to ensure consistent workflow progression
  • Leveraging Microsoft Teams, CRM systems and AI-assisted research tools to support efficient deal sourcing and pipeline management
  • Contributing to the development of structured workflows, automation and data-led processes across the business

The Individual

We are looking for someone who is methodical, detail-oriented and commercially aware.

You will be:

  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with structured data and documentation
  • Able to follow defined processes while maintaining good judgement
  • Clear and concise in written communication
  • Interested in property, planning, investment or analytical roles

You will also have:

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems (e.g. Google Workspace, CRM platforms)
  • A high level of accuracy across all outputs
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities without loss of control or quality
  • Comfortable adopting and improving the use of technology, including AI tools and automation, with a natural inclination to refine systems and enhance how the business operates

Experience in property research, planning, or data-focused roles is helpful but not essential.

The Opportunity

This role offers direct exposure to acquisitions, development and investment activity within specialist sectors.

The right individual will develop a strong understanding of deal assessment and will have a clear pathway into more senior acquisitions or development roles.
