Overview:
The Analyst, Capital Markets Trading and Execution is a full time support position that reports to the Manager of Capital Markets Trading and Execution. Primarily, this position will work in accordance with the Secondary Marketing policy and procedures as well as AOHL's Hedging and Risk Management policy and procedures. This must retrieve and review lock requests/maintenances from secondary marketing lock box and maintain customer service benchmarks with LMA team and investor base. Ability to multi-task, think outside the box and maintain composure are imperative qualities in order to be successful at this position.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Retrieve and review lock requests/maintenances from secondary marketing lock box.
- Lock requests and update information with investors as required.
- Enter data from lock in requests into system.
- Ensuring compliance with rate lock policy
- Provide rate/price quotes to the originators and branch personnel on an exception basis.
- Work with branch, production and investor personnel in resolving any pricing, lock, closing or delivery issues to ensure loans are delivered into commitments in a timely manner.
- Monitor best efforts commitments (changes, expirations, cancellations) and communicate issues with agency/investor.
- Enter data for loan delivery
- Obtain rate sheets from various agencies/conduits, evaluate rate sheets for pricing and prepare rate sheets.
- Analyzes pipeline to determine volume patterns and trends.
- Coordinate with internal members of AOC and external counter-parties to assure clean delivery
- Finalize settlement with counter-party. I,e MSR transfer, PA Reconciliation and Collateral delivery
- Generate and execute Correspondent settlements via Assignment and Conveyance
- Assist with ASF tape creation and maintenance
- Establishes and maintains appropriate reporting systems and controls related to pipeline tracking, commitment and delivery deadlines, and secondary marketing and loan servicing activities. Oversee and/or develop various analytical reports required. Measure fallout, production and other metrics which are relevant to management.
- Presents findings and recommendations to Senior Management.
- Responsible for completion and maintaining new applications and current roster of investor base.
