Our client, a reputable financial institution, is seeking an experienced professional to join their Investment Banking team, supporting debt capital markets and transaction execution activities across regional and international bond markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare pitchbooks, market updates, and pricing analysis for financial institutions, sovereign entities, state-owned enterprises, and corporate clients across USD, SGD, CNH, and Panda bond markets.
- Coordinate with regional and global stakeholders where required to respond to issuers’ RFPs, market enquiries, and regular market intelligence requests.
- Support senior bankers in the preparation of materials and presentations for client pitch meetings and business development discussions.
- Prepare internal approval documentation, including investment banking committee papers, credit limit applications, issuer rating submissions, and client KYC reports where applicable.
- Work closely with investment banking team members to manage end-to-end deal execution, including due diligence, legal documentation review, transaction coordination, and book-building activities.
- Stay updated on macroeconomic trends, regional primary bond issuance, market developments, and issuer credit profiles to identify new business and origination opportunities.
- Support transaction execution and regional business expansion efforts by liaising with issuers, investors, custodians, and other market intermediaries.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, as well as internal governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Handle internal reporting requirements and respond to requests from regional or global stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Debt Capital Markets, Corporate Banking, or related financial services.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to support business communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and clients.
- CMFAS Module 1B and Module 4A/4B certifications will be advantageous.
