Group Description: Our Financial Sponsors Group works with leading private equity firms and institutional investors to support their investment strategies and portfolio companies across sectors. The group works closely with industry and product partners to deliver thoughtful and creative solutions to clients.

What is the Position? Evercore is seeking to hire an Analyst for its Financial Sponsors Group

Primary Responsibilities: This role is a critical part of our client coverage efforts, supporting the day-to-day operations and strategic coverage of key private equity client accounts. While this position does not include deal execution, it offers high-level exposure to investment banking client relationship management. The role focuses on providing logistical, reporting, and operational support to senior relationship managers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Coordinate and maintain comprehensive client account coverage materials, including detailed portfolio summaries, internal and external relationship mapping, meeting notes, and general activity summaries

• Assist in planning and preparing for client meetings, marketing events, and conferences

• Support industry teams in pitch preparation and preparing relevant materials

• Track relationship activity, follow-ups, and deliverables across accounts

• Support internal reporting needs across the Financial Sponsors Group and to senior management, including pipeline tracking and coverage analytics

• Coordinate requests and communications between the Financial Sponsors Group and internal product and industry groups

Specific Qualifications: Analysts play a vital role in the success of Evercore’s Financial Sponsors Group and are key members of each dedicated client coverage team. We are looking for excited, entrepreneurial, organized, and resourceful multi-taskers with high intellectual curiosity.

• Bachelor’s degree required with strong academic background

• High level of corporate finance literacy

• Exacting attention to detail

• Relationship building focus and skill set

• High expectations, for both individual and team development

• Relentless work ethic and deep engagement with content

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems a plus

• Organized with the ability to multi-task and pivot

• Intellectual curiosity and an interest in finance and capital formation

Expected Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000
