Job Title: Analyst, IS Business Intelligence

Responsibilities

Supports a large‑scale ERP data migration validation team ensuring data integrity as records move from legacy systems into SAP.

Writes, troubleshoots, and optimizes SQL queries and stored procedures that reconcile source and target record counts, surface discrepancies, and confirm completeness across migration batches.

Performs primary key matching across source, target, and error/reject tables to identify gaps and mismatches.

Builds and maintains stored procedures following a layered staging architecture.

Optimizes query performance on large datasets, including data type tuning, indexing strategy, and managing complex transformations.

Materializes validation results into physical tables for Power BI consumption.

Performs sampling‑based validation where full‑query comparison isn’t feasible.

Serves as an individual contributor using professional judgment, working independently with minimal supervision.

Participates in collaborative working sessions, provides on‑call and live troubleshooting support, and presents findings to large audiences.

Qualifications

Requires strong T‑SQL / SQL Server experience, comfort with stored procedures, CTEs, staging patterns, dynamic SQL, and experience with large datasets and performance tuning.

ERP data migration experience (SAP, JDE, Oracle), Azure Data Factory, and Power BI awareness are preferred.

Typically requires a degree or equivalent practical experience.
