📍 Remote role | Prefer candidates in Tampa Bay, FL or Texas

We’re looking for an Analytics Engineer who’s fluent in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, but thinks like a business analyst. You’ll design reporting solutions that drive real operational decisions, not just visuals.

What you’ll do:

• Build semantic models, DAX measures, and intuitive dashboards in Power BI.
• Implement row-level security, incremental refresh, and composite model architecture.
• Partner with analysts and architects to design KPIs that reflect how the business really runs.
• Work closely with the Fabric Platform Engineer to connect to lakehouses and warehouses using Direct Lake.
• Validate your own work against outcomes — not just specs — and explain intelligently when data doesn’t support a KPI request.

What you’ll bring:

• Deep Power BI experience across semantic modeling, DAX, governance, and deployment pipelines.
• Strong grasp of star schema and dimensional modeling.
• Proven consulting or client-facing experience, translating complex business processes into data models.
• Bonus points for experience in finance, manufacturing, or logistics — and comfort sitting across from a CFO or VP of Ops.
• Microsoft DP-600 (Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate) certification or clear path to completion (we’ll support you).
