ANALYTICS ENGINEERING DIRECTOR
Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation and growth drive everything we do. Our Analytics organisation sits at the heart of Deliveroo powering decision-making across product, commercial and operations through experimentation, causal inference and machine learning.
From optimising rider dispatch to personalising customer journeys and forecasting demand at scale, we turn complex data into measurable business impact.
We’re looking for an Analytics Engineering Director to join our team in either London. In this role, you’ll define the long-term vision for how we model and govern data, ensuring our global teams have the high-quality foundations needed to drive mission-critical decisions at scale.
ABOUT OUR ANALYTICS ORGANISATION
We have an outstanding analytics organisation, with a mission to enable the highest quality human and machine decision-making. We work throughout the company, in product, business and platform teams and are uniquely placed to use data to help make better decisions and improve data literacy across Deliveroo.
Analytics Engineering is a core pillar of our Analytics Organisation, alongside Data Science, with over 100 Analytics Engineers across the UK, Europe, India and the US.
Our Analytics Engineers are embedded directly within product and business domains, giving them clear context and ownership, while operating with common design principles and ways of working within each company.
We operate at significant scale and complexity. Our data platform processes hundreds of Terabytes per day and powers everything from self-serve analytics and experiments through to executive reporting and strategic planning.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
You’ll be leading the Analytics Engineering team. This organisation is the foundation of our data ecosystem, bridging the gap between raw engineering outputs and actionable business insights. You'll lead a global team of experts dedicated to building scalable, high-quality data products that serve the entire business.
