Join Perkins Coie as a Marketing Analytics Manager within our Intelligence and Insights team. We're looking for a strategic and data-driven professional who can harness advanced analytics and AI to generate actionable insights that enhance our business development, promote client growth, and strengthen our competitive stance. You will have the opportunity to transform complex data into compelling narratives for our lawyers and leadership, influencing key strategies for client origination and growth.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
These essential functions are primary job duties that incumbents must be able to perform unassisted or with some reasonable accommodation.
- Articulate complex analytical insights into clear, concise communications for our legal professionals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including partners and practice group leaders, to provide tailored insights that guide client-specific strategies.
- Utilize marketing, financial, and other firm data to create actionable analyses on client behaviors, market trends, and practice area performance.
- Work with the Manager of Intelligence and Manager of Client Insights to formulate cohesive recommendations for business development.
- Evaluate and develop predictive analytics and AI tools to uncover business and client development opportunities, forecast market demand, and refine our marketing efforts.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports monitoring rival firms, new market entrants, and emerging legal trends.
- Ensure high data quality from various internal and external sources including CRM and financial systems.
- Stay informed on legal industry trends, marketing technology developments, and data privacy regulations to keep our firm competitive and compliant.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular work hours and be available as needed per the firm's attendance expectations.
SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED
- Experience measuring the ROI of marketing initiatives focusing on impactful activities like thought leadership and events.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all organization levels, including senior partners.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data stories to senior leaders.
- Hands-on experience with the business development lifecycle in legal or professional services, emphasizing reputation and client relationships.
- Proven ability to assess user needs and develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms for client and business development.
- Comprehensive experience with advanced analytical tools such as Python, R, SQL, and business intelligence platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
- 5+ years in a marketing analytics or a similar role.
- 3+ years of experience with legal industry marketing technology, including CRMs and email marketing tools.
SPECIFIC SKILLS PREFERRED
- A working knowledge of legal ranking and directory data is highly desirable.
EDUCATION, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE
- A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics is required. A master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

The compensation range for this position varies based on location and is reflective of typical pay. Compensation may differ based on experience, skills, market conditions, and internal equity:
- San Francisco Bay Area: $154,830 - $241,770 annually
- Colorado: $121,310 - $189,420 annually
- Illinois: $128,020 - $199,910 annually
- Los Angeles: $141,270 - $220,590 annually
- San Diego: $139,480 - $217,790 annually
- New York: $140,760 - $219,790 annually
- Washington State: $127,960 - $199,810 annually
- Washington, D.C.: $138,200 - $215,790 annually
