Job Description

Position Overview

We’re looking for an Analytics Product Manager with strong construction industry experience who’s excited to step into product management. You’ll bring 5+ years of hands-on construction experience—working with project data, analytics, schedules, and CPM—and partner closely with our Head of Product, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.

In this role, you’ll help build analytics and dashboards that solve real, everyday problems for construction teams. This is a great fit for someone who’s been a power user of construction software, has improved processes in the field, and now wants to help build the tools they always wished they had.

Responsibilities

  • Set the product direction: Shape and deliver the analytics and dashboard roadmap, turning complex construction data into clear, useful insights.
  • Be the construction expert: Represent the voice of the field and project teams, making sure our analytics solve real-world construction challenges.
  • Talk to customers: Work directly with general contractors, schedulers, and project teams to understand how they use data and where they struggle.
  • Define requirements: Turn construction workflows and reporting needs into clear product requirements and user stories for engineering.
  • Work cross-functionally: Partner closely with engineering and design to deliver high-quality features, providing context on industry standards and best practices.
  • Analyze data: Use internal and customer data to spot trends, validate decisions, and measure feature adoption and impact.
  • Support go-to-market: Help sales and customer success teams tell the analytics story, build strong demos, and onboard customers.
  • Grow as a PM: Learn product management best practices while bringing deep construction knowledge to the team.

Qualifications

  • Construction background: 5+ years in the construction industry, focused on data, reporting, analytics, or BI for project teams.
  • Scheduling expertise: Strong understanding of construction scheduling and CPM (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar).
  • Data experience: Hands-on experience creating reports, dashboards, or analytics for construction stakeholders.
  • Process improvement mindset: Experience improving workflows, rolling out software tools, or driving data-driven decisions.
  • Technical comfort: Comfortable learning new software and understanding how data moves through construction tech systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: Able to break down problems, gather requirements, and propose practical solutions.
  • Clear communicator: Able to translate technical ideas for field teams and construction concepts for engineers.
  • Collaborative approach: Comfortable working with everyone from field teams to executives.
  • Growth-oriented: Excited to learn product management, software development processes, and SaaS business models.
  • Nice to have: Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools; familiarity with construction ERPs like Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud; or prior exposure to product management or software development.

Compensation (DOE): $150k – $160k annual base salary
