Position Summary
As an AQA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of both our backend systems and front-end mobile applications. Leveraging your expertise in Appium (using Java) and Cucumber, you will design, develop, and execute automated tests to identify issues, ensure functionality, and validate the user experience across our product suite. You’ll use the latest lean and agile thinking to solve tough problems and challenge yourself every day.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and implement test plans, cases, and strategies to cover all aspects of product quality, including functional, performance, and security testing.
- Analyze test results, identify and document defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Build and maintain the automation framework to support new features and improve test efficiency.
- Collaborate with others to invent, implement, and deploy new systems and improvements to existing systems.
- Active participation in the Scrum process.
- Stay updated on the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices to continuously improve the QA process.
- Proactively collaborate with teammates and communicate with the remote team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work or training experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an AQA Engineer with a strong focus on native Mobile and web services testing.
- Expertise in Java, automation testing tools, and frameworks (Appium, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG/Junit).
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration abilities are important.
Nice to have
- Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with additional testing frameworks and automation tools.
- Knowledge of mobile UI/UX standards and principles.
