AR Analyst - Financial Shared Services

Location: Atlanta, GA / Local candidates only

Compensation: $75,000 to 85,000 base plus bonus eligibility

Role Summary

The Financial Shared Services Analyst focused on Accounts Receivable plays a critical role in overseeing receivables operations, reporting, and service level performance across internal teams and offshore partners. This role combines hands on analysis with leadership responsibility, acting as a bridge between senior management, business partners, and a large shared services model.

The analyst leads reporting, investigates escalated issues, enforces service standards, and supports technology enhancements that improve efficiency, controls, and customer experience. This position has high visibility and impact across finance operations and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare weekly and month end reporting for senior leadership including receivables aging, bad debt metrics, KPIs, and SLA performance
  • Lead Accounts Receivable focused reporting, benchmarking, and trend analysis
  • Act as project lead for technology implementations and system enhancements impacting AR and shared services
  • Identify and implement process efficiencies and internal control improvements through automation and technology
  • Investigate and resolve escalated discrepancies and complex AR issues
  • Partner directly with offshore BPO teams to ensure service level compliance and optimal performance
  • Oversee timely and accurate processing of cash receipts, resident ledger adjustments, and security deposit transactions
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, bankruptcy guidelines, and state specific requirements

Key Requirements

  • Three to five years of experience with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable operations
  • Two plus years of leadership experience, including managing offshore or distributed teams
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem solving capabilities
  • Experience working with high volume receivables, cash applications, and exception handling
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, high growth environment
  • Strong written communication, time management, and critical thinking skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field or equivalent experience

Pluses

  • Experience with travel and expense oversight and related systems
  • Exposure to large scale system transitions or payment platform changes
  • Experience with property management or ERP systems such as Yardi
