🧬 We're hiring: AI Software Engineer — Austin, TX
At GeneSilico, we're building something that has never existed before: a Continuous Cancer Intelligence System. Our platform, gSage CancerOS, uses digital twin simulation to rank-order drugs by efficacy, backed by evidence — giving oncologists the predictive clarity and contextual memory they need at the moment of decision.
This is not a static biomarker report. This is not a literature summarizer. gSage CancerOS is a longitudinal therapeutic operating system — fusing genomics, pathology, radiology, and real-world outcomes into a single adaptive intelligence layer used by oncologists making life-or-death decisions every day.
We're looking for an entry-level AI Software Engineer to join us in Austin and help build the next generation of this platform.
📍 Austin, TX | Full-Time | Entry Level
What you'll work on:
→ AI features within gSage CancerOS, including our digital twin simulation engine
→ CaseBook — our longitudinal patient memory and clinical state architecture
→ LLM pipelines that synthesize multimodal oncology data (EHR, genomics, imaging, literature)
→ Backend integrations with EHR systems, NGS panels, and real-world evidence sources
→ Tooling to evaluate, monitor, and continuously recalibrate AI model performance
What we're looking for:
→ BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
→ Solid Python skills and comfort with ML frameworks
→ Familiarity with LLMs, RAG pipelines, or vector search
→ Curiosity about biology, genomics, or clinical workflows
→ A collaborative mindset and the drive to grow fast
Our stack includes Python, MongoDB, Atlas, GitHub, LLMs/RAG, vector DBs, React/TypeScript, REST APIs, Docker, cloud (AWS/GCP), FHIR/EHR integrations, and NGS pipelines.
Why GeneSilico?
→ 300+ real patient datasets powering our models
→ 10 US patents pending
→ 740+ FDA-approved drugs mapped in our simulation engine
→ Partnerships with Karkinos (Reliance), Omega, and HCG
→ Publications in leading journals including Nature
If you want your first engineering role to genuinely matter — where your code helps guide cancer treatment decisions — we'd love to hear from you.
