Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Engineer:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Engineer for a 5-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 to 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Engineer - Job Description:

The project involves developing reliable AI agents to automate parts of the Threat Hunting workload currently managed by human Threat Hunters. These agents will need to navigate, review, and interpret large volumes of security event data, creating reusable patterns for future development within Global Security.

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Engineer - Responsibilities:

• Review workload in Jira and commit to daily goals

• Develop and deploy thoroughly tested features

• Work with subject matter experts to propose well-designed solutions

• Stay updated on recent Agentic AI trends and frameworks

• Debug, test, and fix issues identified in agents

• Engage with the wider Agentic AI community

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Engineer - Mandatory Skills:

• Strong Python (or equivalent modern language) engineering skills

• Experience with Langfuse for observability and evaluations

• Familiarity with OpenShift/Kubernetes for deployment

• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD

• Knowledge of MongoDB/PostgreSQL/Redis databases

• Proven experience building production-grade AI agents

• Thorough understanding of LLMs and agentic systems

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with cybersecurity tools like CrowdStrike, Splunk, Mandiant

• Familiarity with multiple agent frameworks such as Claude Agent SDK, LangGraph

• Experience evaluating tradeoffs between agentic frameworks vs. custom orchestration
