Job Description

Who You Are

You are a detail-driven real estate professional who brings precision, urgency, and analytical rigor to complex, fast-moving assignments. You do not need a perfectly defined playbook to get started; you read the situation, build the structure, and execute. You are energized by working independently, solving hard problems with incomplete information, and holding yourself to a high standard without being asked twice.

You are comfortable navigating court-driven processes, distressed assets, and shifting stakeholder demands. You communicate clearly and concisely, translating financial and operational complexity into decisions that move things forward. You take ownership of your work and do not wait to be managed.

How You Contribute

  • Execute across the full receivership lifecycle, coordinating with lenders, legal counsel, property managers, and brokers through court-driven processes
  • Support property takeovers, including management transition, bank account setup, vendor onboarding, and identification of operational, financial, and life safety risks
  • Maintain accurate accounting records through Receipts and Disbursements (R&D) reporting and manage cash flow tools, including weekly cash sheets and funding requests
  • Analyze property-level financials (bank reconciliations, income statements, AP/AR aging, rent rolls, and lease data) to identify variances, trends, and actionable insights
  • Prepare lender and court-required reporting with consistent, timely communication across stakeholders
  • Oversee third-party property managers to ensure operational performance, financial accuracy, and accountability
  • Monitor key performance indicators including occupancy, collections, delinquency, leasing activity, and expense control
  • Analyze market data to inform leasing strategy, including pricing, concessions, and Net Effective Rent (NER) optimization
  • Evaluate commercial lease structures and support lease negotiations, build-outs, and lease administration
  • Support construction and capital projects, including bid review, contractor coordination, and tracking of capital and TI budgets
  • Assist with court filings, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and coordinate with counsel on receivership matters
  • Support asset disposition efforts, including broker coordination, BOV preparation, due diligence materials, and offer evaluation

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or real estate
  • 2 to 5+ years of experience in real estate asset management, property accounting, or financial analysis
  • Strong command of real estate financials and property operations
  • Familiarity with multifamily and/or commercial leasing concepts
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and financial modeling capability
  • Experience with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Yardi, or AppFolio (preferred)
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves mindset with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines and shifting priorities

Why You Will Be Excited to Work Here

  • Work-life harmony: a culture-rich, flexible environment that respects life outside of work
  • PTO accrual and paid holidays: because you earn it
  • Community impact: paid volunteer time and monetary matches to your charity of choice
  • Office perks: Wellness, food and beverage
  • Health benefits: multiple plan options to fit your needs
  • 401(k) contribution: support for your financial future
  • Continued education and networking opportunities: because sharp people keep getting sharper
