What You Will Be Working On
As an Assistant Engineer/Senior Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) at Changi Water Reclamation Plant, you will play a vital role in treating used water to produce high-quality NEWater and ensure safe discharge to the sea. Working alongside a team of engineers and contractors, you will implement various maintenance strategies to keep critical water treatment equipment running safely and efficiently. We are looking for motivated individuals to join us. Your main responsibilities are:
- Work with engineers and contractors to perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance works safely for M&E and auxiliary equipment in used water treatment processes.
- Assist supervisor to procure essential spares, monitor spares inventory and utilisation of expenditures
- Respond to equipment abnormalities and carry out SOP when required.
- Utilise enterprise systems such as the Asset Management System for procurement, contract management, asset and inventory management
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on improving safety, efficiency, and equipment reliability.
What We Are Looking For
- Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent
- Able to work independently and a good team player
- Able to respond to urgent situations outside normal working hours
- Comfortable with working in used water environment and physically able to perform site works
- Familiar with predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration monitoring and its basic application for equipment maintenance
