Job Description
Responsibilities
Create and maintain data models, dashboards, and visual displays to support audit planning and reporting.
Gather, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data using SQL and Python to find trends and identify issues.
Collaborate with audit teams to integrate data-driven testing and custom audit methods into projects.
Develop and automate scripts and workflows to improve recurring audit tasks.
Ensure compliance with data governance, quality, and security standards in analytics projects.
Work with IT and business units to enhance data access and integration from financial and operational systems.
Help in creating early-warning indicators and automated testing using analytics.
Support innovative projects utilizing Generative AI (GenAI), natural language processing (NLP), or machine learning to improve audit effectiveness.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in data modeling, analytics, business intelligence, or audit analytics, preferably in internal audit or risk management.
Minimum of 2 years working with modern data platforms and cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Experience with automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath) is a plus.
Familiarity with embedding analytics into audit workflows is preferred.
A collaborative team player with cultural awareness, comfortable working in diverse teams.
Strong analytical and programming skills, capable of solving complex problems and delivering efficient data solutions.
Proficient in SQL, Power BI, and Python (including libraries like pandas and numpy).
Good understanding of database management, including designing and querying databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and professionalism in handling sensitive data.
Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese; knowledge of Putonghua is a plus for regional collaboration.
