In this Credit Risk Analytics role at Deloitte, you will develop and validate credit risk models (IFRS9, IRB, stress testing) and support governance with data-driven insights. You’ll work with audit teams to strengthen clients’ credit measurement ecosystems, contributing to thought leadership and trusted advisory relationships. The role offers cross-functional collaboration, exposure to regulatory perspectives, and opportunities to shape credit risk practices. - Develop, deliver and validate credit risk models under IFRS9, IRB, and stress testing regimes
- Provide credit measurement modelling and analytics services to clients
- Support 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line teams with model build, review, and governance
- Assist in designing and improving credit measurement ecosystems (data, controls, reporting, model risk management)
- Support Deloitte’s external audit of IFRS9 and assurance of RWA by challenging methodologies
- Contribute to analytics projects (acquisition due diligence, stress testing, Asset Quality Reviews)
- Contribute to thought leadership and strategy for Analytics & Modelling team
- Help build long-term relationships with audited entities as a trusted advisor
- Promote an inclusive culture and collaborate across a diverse team
Tasks
- Good credit modelling skills and experience with IFRS9, IRB, or forecasting/stress testing
- Understanding of credit financials, governance, and stakeholder perspectives
- Knowledge of financial services credit fundamentals across asset classes
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-experts
- Project management and leadership capabilities
- Ability to partner with audited entities and stakeholders
- Python modelling software skills (must)
- Modelling software skills (SAS, SQL, MS Excel including VBA, R)
