Assistant Manager (Financial Analyst)

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or other related disciplines
• Qualified member of HKICPA or equivalent
• At least 5 years of solid in management accounting and / or financial analysis

Po Leung Kuk is a well-established charitable organization in Hong Kong and has been serving the local community for nearly 148 years. The Kuk provides multifaceted and quality social, educational, youth, recreational, cultural services and medical and integrated health services to all ages in the community through its over 300 service units. It attends to more than 2,700,000 visits for services per year in the past 3 years with about 45,000 students of its affiliated schools. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare variance analysis of actual against budget / historical financial performance.
• Facilitate review of business performance and make recommendations to optimize the deployment of financial resources.
• Assist in conducting financial data analysis or simulation to facilitate senior management’s decision-making process.
• Provide professional support to business team to identify, develop and implement sustainable financial plans for long-term operation of particular project.
• Assist in review of business performance and discuss proactively for any anticipated issues with recommendations.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and perform any duties as assigned.

Our Requirements

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or other related disciplines.
• Qualified member of HKICPA or equivalent overseas leading professional accounting institutes.
• At least 5 years of solid experience in management accounting and / or financial analysis in medium to large sized organization and have experience in financial modelling.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly understand and interpret complex information.
• Knowledgeable and proficient in account system (preferably in Oracle).
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Ability to handle multi-task, work independently and meet deadlines required.
