Job Description

Conduct review, analysis and assessment on credit applications/annual reviews in relation to credit limit with Sovereign, Supranational, Agency and Corporate counterparty for the Bank's financial assets

Monitor and analyze developments in the FX, Rates and Investment Grade Bond markets, including the pricing trends for new issues and secondary market valuations

Work closely with other team members, to formulate investment strategies to enhance and optimize the Treasury investment income

Ensure all trade execution complies with the proper internal governance, limits and controls

Closely monitor the progress of credit applications, and adhere to the agreed schedule

Ensure that all credit applications are in full compliance with credit assessment standards, regulatory requirements as well as the Bank's policies and guidelines

Lead and manage internal Treasury system and other ad‑hoc projects, such as interest rate and FX derivations, repo transactions, and other fixed income products etc. Working closely with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure smooth implementation

Support treasury operations with accurate market data, cash bond &hedging trade execution, and risk monitoring

Requirements:

  • University degree holder in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Risk Management or related subjects
  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in financial institutions, preferably within Treasury, fixed income investment, money markets, or interest rate derivatives trading.
  • Strong understanding and experience in Money Markets, FX, Credit, Rates, Repo and Fixed Income products and related instruments
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, ability to work with a wide circle of stakeholders across different functions and divisions, driving for collective consensus and results
  • Strong command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Proficiency in programming language (such as Python) skills will be an advantage
